Welcome to Family Friendly Musical Theater!
This opportunity for ages 8 -16 allows young people to be involved in a children's chorus! Following state-mandated Covid precautions, children will sing with others, have experience learning choral parts, and receive individual vocal coaching.
Chorus will be held via Zoom every Thursday, beginning September 24th from 6-7:15 pm. The tuition for 3 months (September 24th through December 24th) is $115 per participant . If there is enough interest, we will consider creating a younger group and an older group!
Each session of 1 hour and 30 minutes will include:
15 minutes group vocal technique training
45 minutes -sectional rehearsals where participants will practice their harmony parts as they learn songs in the repertoire
30 minutes - individual or small group vocal instruction
We will be preparing Christmas and holiday choral music to be performed live in December.
For more information or to register your child, please do so by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope you will join us for a beautiful vocal experience!
Please note: Register your child only if you are comfortable with them attending a couple of live, full group rehearsals before the performance and participating in a live performance. Singers will be required to wear masks at these rehearsals and will be positioned 6 feet apart from one another. For the performance itself, the audience will be distanced and singers will wear shields/and or masks. If you are not comfortable with this environment, please do not register.
Just for fun! An opportunity for adults, age 18 and older to get together via Zoom to read plays and/or sing musical plays. The readings will be conducted on Zoom and are free of charge!
Chosen plays will be announced two weeks in advance of readings and parts assigned. Readings will be held the 4th Thursday of each month so our first one will be Thursday Sept. 24th.
Please email if you are interested and would like to be included on the list to receive information about upcoming plays and parts available and the Zoom invitations by contacting email@example.com.
A great way to safely get together and continue to act and sing!
